While social is a hot commodity for businesses to build their brands, increase exposure and build rapport with current customers, a key benefit of social for marketers and the businesses they work for is the way to leverage it for lead generation and nurturing. 

Using various social profiles, businesses can generate and nurture leads on social through:

  • Advertising (cheaper than Google Adwords)
  • Contests & giveaways
  • Unique hashtags
  • Video

Email

There’s a lot that goes into email marketing. It’s no easy undertaking... You have to build lists, create content that is customized to those lists, test and optimize your email campaigns, and repeat. When done right, email is a powerful tool that can upsell current customers and engage with the cold leads in your pipeline.

By segmenting email lists, testing and optimizing your content, you can nurture leads through:

  • Sign up specials
  • Downloadable resources
  • Include CTAs (schedule demo, call sales, etc.) to continue the conversation

Including a call to action in that signature, like ‘Schedule a call with me’ or ‘Contact me to get special pricing upon sign up' is a simple reminder at the end of an email to get in touch or take another step towards purchase.
