Not sure what you should prioritize, or where to start? Read on!

  • Advertise your sales/ specials in various ways; email, fliers, and ads online and on social platforms. Get in front of your audience through multiple touch points so they remember seeing you multiple times, and can make that connection with your brand.

  • Limited time offers often work well because they encourage consumers to buy now rather than waiting for the holidays to get closer. Test a "Buy Now" campaign and see how it resonates.

  • Offer discounts, coupons, and freebies for early  bird shoppers. You can also offer unique coupon codes for each channel (direct mail, email) so your customers can shop the way they prefer (online, in-store, via a mobile app, etc.)

  • Use social media to advertise your product, to build exposure for your brand, to offer prizes and special offers/ discounts.Example; “Use our hashtag with your favorite holiday photo and you'll be entered to win a $50 gift card for Christmas shopping!”

  • Blog about it. Make sure you have promotional content on your blog about the holiday campaigns you're marketing this year! This strategy will not only push out your promotions to more customers,
but it will also increase traffic to your website.

  • Volunteer, donate toys to kids, serve a meal at a local soup kitchen to show how your company is giving back. People are more likely to feel a connection with a brand that does good in the community. Play on the emotional side of the holidays so your customers see your generosity, but make sure it's authentic!

  • Ensure that your campaigns, deals, and offers are running cohesively and are consistent across every channel. Test, test, and re-test!

  • Track your ROI so you know what works, what doesn’t, and what should be modified for the next holiday!
