Multichannel Strategies in Marketing

By now, you've most likely heard of multi-channel marketing and you are (hopefully!) implementing a strategy to achieve a cohesive presence across all digital channels,  in-store, and everywhere in between. Like any fresh strategy, there is an optimization period, and we're here to expedite you through that process!

1. Determine Your Targeted Audience

You should already know this, but narrowing down your audience to the ideal customer is key. Then, create a single customer view across every channel to ensure that your marketing strategy is cohesive and scalable.

2. Key In & Optimize Your Campaigns

Whether you host customer surveys, perform A/B testing on your channels, or experiment with branding, make sure your campaigns are optimized according to the data you bring in! This step is crucial to multi-channel success because it's the control phase.

3. Deliver Consistency

Regardless of where they’re interacting with you (in-store, over the phone, online, etc.), your branding should remain the same. This, by definition, is the entire purpose of multi-channel marketing. Style, tone, message and experience should feel seamless everywhere.

4. Report, Measure, Adjust

Measuring your campaigns through analytics is the most effective way to understand how they’re performing and if your customers are responding to and converting using the multi-channel strategy. Once you've found that sweet spot, where everything is fluid and in tune, reporting will be much less in depth and adjusting will be simple.

5. Evolve

Businesses change, customers change, branding changes. Nothing about your business plan should remain stagnant for long... Including the way you market! Be intentional about staying up on the latest industry trends in multi-channel marketing to discover and understand what works in your industry and for your business.

If you take the time to work with your team and consult your various departments, we're confident that your company can create a strategy that fits in line with your brand perfectly. Multi-channel is here to stay, so adjusting early on will only save time and money!
