The Ytel family is continuing to grow, and we are currently looking to add a VP of Marketing to the team that has a strong SaaS background. We need someone with a passion for marketing technology, who gets excited about the idea of leaving their fingerprints on change! You'll also need to be a great manager – organizing people, projects and process towards clear goals that fit in a vision you are advocating. You'll be a coach, mentor and inspiration to the people on the team today, and have a track record of building high performing teams that can meet future growth targets.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Owning all aspects of Ytel’s overall marketing strategy and day-to-day operations, including the marketing budget
  • Leading the team on day to day operations and business critical projects
  • Providing direction branding, marketing and product enhancements/decisions
  • Defining product marketing plans and go to market strategy
  • Creating metrics and KPI’s that best evaluate our marketing program effectiveness, ensuring goals are being met
  • Overseeing strategy and execution for digital, social, lead/demand generation, campaigns, events, PR, and sales enablement
  • Redefining and maintaining our brand strategy, core messaging and marketing collateral
  • Marketing new products and features to existing customers and prospects
  • Acting as the go to person for all marketing, advertising and communications
  • Strategic planning including corporate and product positioning, competitive analysis, market segmentation, and go to market planning
  • Maintaining high standards for a cohesive, well defined, and beautifully presented brand
  • Defining and directing marketing programs that result in demand creation, leads and revenue
  • Managing and develop a well branded, high converting website
  • Work with the rest of the leadership team to identify, assess, and develop market and growth opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 10 years marketing experience in comparable industries with 6 years in a senior management position along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
  • Experience leading a marketing team focused on enterprise SaaS, especially in rapid-growth environments
  • Demonstrated success in new product marketing and launch execution
  • You understand that marketing is in the details, and the importance of the customer
  • Unafraid to take calculated risks and the ability to learn from them
  • This senior leadership position requires the ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategy and implementing the strategy to achieve pre-set objectives as determined by the marketing plan
  • Experience managing budgets effectively across multiple departments, financial reporting, setting up effective metrics and business processes
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required. M.B.A. preferred
