Ytel Named a 2016 Top Workplace in Orange County, California

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA - 9 December, 2016 - Ytel, a leading provider of communications software and embedded real-time communications solutions, announced today it was named a 2016 Top Workplace in Orange County, CA, by the Orange County Register. There were 70 small companies in the Orange County area that were nominated, and Ytel ranked #6 for this category.

The annual Top Workplaces Awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor companies with the highest employee satisfaction. Rankings were based solely on feedback provided by employees in an anonymous survey conducted earlier this year by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent agency.

"This award emphasizes the quality of people that become part of the Ytel team," said Nick Newsom, CEO at Ytel. "We are fortunate to have the ability to reinvest into culture and we have hired leading talent throughout Orange County and around several other office locations."

"Culture is one of those things that gradually grows organically," said Sean Dailey, HR Manager. "Some of the things we do that are very straight forward, like lunch. It's provided everyday, and it allows people from different teams to come together and talk about their kid taking their first step or how they messed up dinner last night. We share things, we grow closer. We all have one goal in mind and push the envelope."

In connection with this award, Ytel has grown its workforce by over 30% in the last year.
