This position is a high-energy business-to-business (B2B) sales role that is responsible for full-cycle sales, including lead generation (cold calls), pushing through gatekeepers, pitching customers, doing presentations, and demos, handling customer concerns, creating proposals, and closing deals. The compensation for this position is salary plus uncapped commission.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You’ll be selling Ytel’s cloud-based business communication products and solutions.
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities through prospecting activities.
  • Conduct 100-150 outbound cold calls
  • Prospecting for new leads via purchased lists, social platforms, trade shows, and the CRM
  • Proactively managing and responding to inbound and outbound leads
  • Contacting and qualifying leads via phone, email, and chat
  • Educating prospects on Ytel product features and capabilities
  • Achieving or exceeding daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly phone call and scheduled demonstration goals as defined by management

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Outbound sales experience
  • Proven ability to hunt and prospect for sales opportunities via outbound cold calling
  • Sales experience in telecom, UCaaS, CPaaS, contact center software, SaaS, platform sales, technology, or other technical and related industry experience preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and listening skills
  • Self-starter who is highly motivated
  • Ability to work as a team member and effectively communicate within different levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results
  • Technical aptitude and computer skills essential
  • Desire to grow and learn
