In a world where technology reigns supreme, the white noise gets louder every time a new app is released. The apps that claim to be saviors, game changers, and difference-makers like nothing before… until you download them and regret using your precious storage. However, some apps can (and should be!) trusted heavily, as they allow you to sell more efficiently. This is an inside look into our “digital sales pocket knife”, AKA some life-saving apps. Enjoy!

Sales Apps You Need

In a world where technology reigns supreme, the white noise gets louder every time a new app is released. The apps that claim to be saviors, game changers, and difference-makers like nothing before… until you download them and regret using your precious storage. However, some apps can (and should be!) trusted heavily, as they allow you to sell more efficiently. A great example is LinkedIn, a tool that has completely changed the landscape of business. If you aren’t on LinkedIn, go sign up right now! This is an inside look into our “digital sales pocket knife”, AKA some life-saving apps. Enjoy!

CardMunch - The days of the Rolodex are long gone. With CardMunch, you simply take a picture of a business card, and it will not only be digitally stored, but the contact info will be saved into your smartphone.

Evernote - Take notes, set reminders, create to-do lists, and present within seconds, anytime or anywhere with Evernote from any device.

Sidekick by HubSpot - Instantly know when your emails have been clicked on or opened with Sidekick. This tool allows you to track emails by simply laying over your email and functioning as an extension.

Google Drive - Google has made it easy to share knowledge and information. Share and collaborate with your team on content in real time. Google Drive seems like a no-brainer, but many companies aren’t leveraging it. There’s no longer a need to worry if your team has the most recent version or copy; simply give them access to the document in Drive by entering their email address. Drive also gives you access to documents on smartphones and tablets, allowing for simple mobile changes.

EchoSign - With EchoSign, you have the ability to send contracts or documents for signing electronically. Not only is it easy to send, but it’s easy to sign. Signees can simply digitally sign the contract, allowing you to turn an agreement around in seconds!

Uber/Lyft - If you’re traveling for work, you’re going to need a way to get around.  At the click of a button on your mobile phone, a driver will be on their way to pick you up and take you anywhere. All transactions are done within the app, so you never need to worry about having cash for a cab again.

Twitter - Another seemingly obvious application, but some are still behind the times! You have instant access to an audience, with the ability to tailor your message precisely when using Twitter. For this reason, it’s also one of the easiest social media platforms to develop a following with. Twitter is a valuable way to engage on a more personal level with your network.

Slack - Probably one of the most useful free apps, Slack allows you to communicate with your team in real-time via chat. You can message your team in channels, directly or in private groups. Slack is also integrated with Google Drive, making it even easier to share documents instantly with your team.

Rapportive - A business development dream, Rapportive is an extension application that lays over your email. Rapportive provides a snapshot of the person you're sending an email to, as well as other ways to connect with them. As the email is being crafted, you will see their LinkedIn page and their other social media profiles. By using Rapportive, you can also ensure that a prospect's email is correct. After entering their email address, the information will display if it's correct. If nothing populates, simply try another syntax until it’s right!

vTie - A huge part of selling is looking the part. Look good, sell good, right? vTie gives you access to step by step directions, with visual aides, to countless sharp-looking tie knots. No more standing in the mirror trying to remember how to get that Half Windsor on point!
