    Tips to Master Time Management

Through knowing your intentions and what you need to achieve, time management becomes much easier to implement in every day tasks to work more efficiently. Read on!

    Prioritize crunch time

Crunch time means no interruptions, no social media distractions, just you and the work you need to get done. Having an hour or two set aside (depending on your workload) will create an influx of tasks accomplished.

    Avoid multitasking

Less than 5% of people know how to successfully multitask. Don't try to be one of them; when you have a task at hand, focus solely on that and see how much you can get done sans distractions. Chances are good that you'll get more done not multitasking than you would attempting to work on three things at once.

    Stay organized

Organization is a great habit to establish early on in your career. If you haven't achieved organizational nirvana, take baby steps to get there. Whether you start your day with an agenda, to-do list, or just a list of things to tackle for the week; any of these are a great jump-off point for productivity and time management.

    Plan for breaks

Brain breaks are key to productivity and successfully managing your time. You can't drill down all day and never take a minute to rest; humans simply aren't wired that way. Whether you have to put "Brain Break" on your calendar or you have an alarm set each day, prioritizing rest and time away from your computer is essential.

    Utilize Tech

There is an app for everything today, so find a time management app that makes your life easier! You can also remain focused by using distraction free writing applications, noise-canceling headphones, or check out some podcasts that get you in the zone. There is a ton of tech on the market that will help you successfully manage your time. Good luck!
